Senior CH Raider Insults the King of Stormwind
|
March 3, 2010 – Varian Wrynn, the current king of Stormwind, turned his back on The Contemporary Heroes Wednesday after senior raider – and long time troublemaker – Tungol told him “We don’t want your help. Please go away,” in Icecrown Citadel.
The king, aghast at the insult, abruptly left, taking his “Strength of Wrynn” buff with him. While the other 24 heroes in the raid remained confused, Tungol was overheard mumbling something about “We don’t need him. He isn’t my king anyway. I didn’t vote for him.”
Luckily for the raid, the king returned after some crafty diplomacy by CH guildmaster Firestaryvfd. There were, however, still many hard feelings.
“I respect the strength that the Contemporary Heroes bring to the fight against the Lich King, but this Tungol may want to stay out of Stormwind for a few weeks,” Wrynn explained. “There are many hazardous spots in my city and I would hate to see him suffer an unfortunate ‘accident’.”
Guild leadership met shortly after the raid to discuss punishment for the brash warrior but, to date, no decision has been made regarding his fate.

March Raiding Schedule

The raiding schedule has been posted for the month of March. Please check the link at the left hand side of the homepage.
Also, be aware that in-game invites will go out on a weekly basis. Please visit the calendar to help schedule your time for the raids not yet on the ingame calendar. (Also use this as a way to set goals for yourself to move up in raid ranking :) )
A reminder, the Fall of Naxxramas achievement (on any toon in the guild) is required to advance to R6 raid rank.

Marrowgar's Shadow Nowhere to be Found
|
February 2, 2010 - Lord "Punxsutawney" Marrowgar poked his head out of his hole late yesterday only to have it cut off before he had a chance to see his shadow. This, of course, means many more weeks of successful raiding for the Contemporary Heroes.
